To get things started, Sandra met Carmen, the Interior Designer, through Charmian the host. Carmen will help to turn Sandra's room into a work of art! With the design direction fixed and budget credited, Sandra is all set for her shopping trip! Sandra got her bed with storage space, a study desk and a rug at Kids Haven, the furniture store. She did faced some difficulties in selecting, but with Charmain and Carmen around, there is no big issue. After which, she went to get her DIY materials.
Sandra got help from the room groomers to clear the room and paint the walls according to the colours she wanted. She also picked her trick eye mural and discussed with the wall muralist, how to go about it. While the wall muralist works on the mural, Sandra proceeded to work on her first DIY project, an abstract image. She got her dad as her first lifeline to help. While Sandra gets her dad to help complete the remaining part of the painting, the furniture arrived!
Our art director, Sandra is not only decisive but also willing to get down and help! After giving instruction on the placement of the bed, she proceeded to help with the bed assembly.
After checking on the wall muralist, hanging up the DIY painting and shelf, Sandra moved to work on her second DIY project with the help of her second lifeline, Carmen. They used Sandra’s old artworks and recycled it to an art pieces; paper Mache bowls.
While Sandra was checking the progress of the room, she felt something is lacking and that was when Carmen surprised Sandra with a painting to add on the museum gallery feel. As the final touching up is done, it is time for the reveal!
