It showcases kids taking charge of their own stories and their own rooms, within a budget and a timeline, with the help of a lively host, professionals, and their own family and friends. Have you ever dreamt of becoming a superhero game character with superpowers to help and save Earth? Meet Nico, an ambitious boy who never shy away from advantages, virtually or not.
Nico hopes to revamp his room to a nice comfortable room, with eco-eco-friendly gaming design theme, where he can relax and play his games. By taking on this room grooming quest, Nico wishes to make his father proud and show that he can be an independent good leader. Nico also want to prove everyone who think he cannot handle big project wrong. Groom my room is not just about room grooming, today, we will see a boy becoming a man.
To change a childish room to electrifying, Nico will get help from a cool interior designer, 2 room groomers and 2 lifelines. With the help of the host, Charmian, Nico met Jillien, the interior designer. They started with discussing the plan for room, while Jillien is drafting the layout plan, Nico shared his idea of what he wants to add in.
Once the plan is set and budget credited, Nico kicked off the quest with a shopping trip for the items he will need. Nico custom made a bed and pick a free rug that matched his room theme! He also went to get some materials for his DIY projects.
Back to his room, Nico called for the room groomers to help out with clearing the room and painting the walls. After which, Nico met the wall muralist and shared the wall murals plan for the room. While the wall muralist worked on the murals, Nico got his first lifeline to work on his first DIY project, which is creating a sun.
When the furniture arrived, Nico is leading by example by helping to fix up the furnitures. Charmain, surprised Nico with a bean bag, knowing he wishes to have a lounge area but it was out of the budget!
Nico was feeling tired in the middle of the challenge but persevered on remembering what his father taught him about being a good leader. Nico carried on to put everything together in the room.
With his father’s help, Nico worked on his second DIY project, which is to create a world globe that he wanted to use as a display piece on his table.
When Nico is back to his room to do a final check, Julline surprised him with greeneries that helps to enhance the eco-friendly theme of his room!
At long last, the room is finally ready for the reveal!
Nico’s father is happy and proud that Nico was able to see something through all the way, take charge of it from the start, work through in the middle and to the end product. Nico levelled up with this room grooming quest! Great work Nico!
