PURCHASE TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

Delivery Timings

Delivery timing:
Monday to Friday, either
(i) 10:00a.m. - 1:00p.m. 
(ii) 2:00p.m. - 6:00p.m.

• Delivery on weekends and public holidays are not available. 
• Strictly no assembly jobs will be conducted after 5:00p.m., as all jobs had to be completed before 6:00p.m.
• You will be contacted in advance via WhatsApp text message to arrange a convenient date and time. 
• Kindly allow 3-4 hours interval for delivery.
• Delivery can made within one week of payment clearance for in-stock items during non-peak periods.

Delivery Rates

• Kids Haven offers free single-trip delivery for purchases over $100; a $10 delivery charge applies for orders below $100. 
• Delivery can be made within 1 week of payment clearance for ready stocks items during non peak period. However, in the case that you would like to expedite your delivery, we provide urgent delivery via a third party vendor at an additional fee of $50 per bed. 
• A redelivery fee of $80 and above will apply for last-minute cancellations or changes to the delivery. Kindly inform 3 working days in advance to avoid the fee. 

Delivery Surcharge

Addresses in CBD, Tuas, Sentosa, and Jurong Island are subject to additional costs of $20. The amount will be collected later for orders that are submitted online.

Non-lift Charges

Non-lift landing fees will incur, charge by per floor per item. Please inform us prior delivery if there is any non-lift landing. This includes any staircase from unloading to the point where furniture will be set up (e.g. walking up to apartment, inside the apartment etc.).

Non-lift charges (per level):

• $10 per bulky item for items such as trundle and chairs.
• $20 per bulky item for items such as staircase, drawer bookcase, Single/ Super Single bed or mattress (double deck beds or corner beds will be multiplied accordingly).
• $30 per bulky item for items such as Queen bed or mattress, or any of equivalent.
• Non-lift charges are capped at $210 per job. 
• The non-lift fee will divide by 2 for half a flight of stairs.
• Stairs that are 4 steps or less will be exempted from the non-lift charges. 

The list above is a non-exhaustive list.  

Non-declaration of non-lift will incur a redelivery charge ranging from $50-$200. 

Shift/ Dismantle/ Disposal Services and Charges

Shifting or dismantling services are not included. Shifting or dismantling the existing bed frame or furniture within rooms is to be done strictly by customers; Kids Haven will not be held liable for any damages.

Customers who wish to shift or dismantle beds previously purchased from Kids Haven can contact our customer service personnel to inquire about this service for a fee.

Please clear the room before delivery, otherwise Kids Haven reserve the right to arrange for redelivery at a fee. A redelivery fee of $80 and above will apply for last-minute cancellations or changes to the delivery.

Disposal services are at $40 onwards per disposal, to be pre-arranged.

Tight Working Space Surcharge

Should there be no reasonable amount of space given at the point of assembly, additional charges of $80 will apply for tight working space labour. We need a minimum clearance space of around 20cm for screws to enter.

Assembly

Free assembly is provided for all beds, full wardrobes, and full study tables. Other furniture prices do not include assembly (range from $15-$20 per item) unless otherwise stated.

Items will be pre-assembled prior to delivery. Bigger items such as wardrobes and beds will be assembled onsite. Please allow for sufficient space for the assembly works and furniture.

We do not include lights assembly and (furniture) wall mounting services in our charges. Please arrange your own electrician or handyman.

Reassembly or reconfiguration on existing beds will incur a reassemble fee of $120 onwards, depending on the bed type and complexity.

Disclosure

Kids Haven sources its products from overseas. We do not operate factories and therefore do not have direct control over the manufacturing and shipping process.

Delivery lead times differ between brands. As a guide, we do keep stock of Maxtrix, Oslo ModBed, selected Cilek and Joey's products. Please check with our sales staff if you have a specific enquiry for your purchase.

Self-Collection

If you prefer to self-collect your items, you may do so at our Woodlands warehouse (kindly enquire for address). Please contact us at orders@kidshaven.sg to make arrangements prior to coming. Goods uncollected 3 months from the date of collection notification will be confiscated and resold to defray costs. Exceptions can be made if prior notice is given. 

Payment

Full payment is required prior to delivery. A minimum of 50% deposit is required for items with longer waiting time. Balance payment will need to be cleared before the proposed delivery slot is confirmed. If not, Kids Haven reserved the rights to release the delivery slot to other customers.

Returns and Exchanges

Kids Haven strives for customer satisfaction and we want to make your shopping experience with us a pleasant one. Returns and exchanges are willingly accepted within 7 days from the day the purchase is made and we will issue a refund less 25% admin fees, and delivery charges if we have already delivered the items to you. 

You are responsible for bringing the items to our showroom. If a collection service is required, there is a $80-200 collection charge for beds, furniture, and other larger items, $30 dispatched courier service for smaller items. 

For all returns, we simply ask that you take care to return the items to us in the condition that you received them. The return items should be unopened and unused and still in its original packaging.

Please note that we cannot accept returns based on the below:

• Items returned not in its original packaging.
• Items sold at As-Is condition.
• Items have been used.
• Mattresses, pillows, etc that have been unwrapped (for hygiene reasons).
• Item has been personalized or made to your specific requirement (e.g. customized beds, customized mattresses).
• Items indent from overseas especially for you. (This include Cilek products and Maxtrix special order).
• Goods damaged after leaving our store or have checked and received in good condition during the delivery.

Furniture Defects

At Kids Haven, we strive to ensure that your items arrive in perfect condition. We take great care in both the packing and shipping processes to guarantee their safe delivery. In the unfortunate event that there are defects on your purchased furniture, here's what to expect:

As these are hand-painted children's furniture or bulky wood furniture, please note that minor scratches, paint marks. and paint irregularities are common signs that could be found on hand-made items. 

1. If your surface defects do not affect the aesthetic and usage function of the product, we will be glad that you continue to use them. 

2. If the surface defects do not align with point 1, please send pictures of the affected product to orders@kidshaven.sg with your order details. We will arrange to rectify or replace the affected parts within 7 days. In the event that we do not have the available part on hand, please allow for 4 to 6 weeks for the replacement part to be shipped in. In the case of customised beds, it will take about 1.5 to 2 months as the parts had to be remake due to special sizes. In the case of Cilek items will take about 3 months as the parts had to be shipped in from Europe. 

Damage during Delivery

Kids Haven, along with our expert assemblers, strives to handle the delivery and assembly of your furniture with the highest level of care.

However, in the unfortunate event that there is any accidental damage to your property (e.g. floor, walls, etc), we will first assess if the damage is caused directly by our delivery team in the process of the assembly. As a follow up, we will assist to touch up the damage, but since we are not specialists, we will only be able to touch up on a best efforts basis.

All other issues relating to the above will be dealt on a case-by-case basis. Please report defects or any dissatisfaction within 7 days upon receipt of your products to orders@kidshaven.sg. All issues should be accompanied by photos, videos and information relating to the issue.

Please allow for 2 to 3 days of investigation work to be done. A satisfactory answer and the necessary actions will be taken accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by any issues arising from these problems.


ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS ON OUR BRANDS

Oslo ModBed 

1. Due to the nature of pine wood, there will be visible wood grains like eyes and irregular grains throughout the bed. This does not constitute a defect. Please examine our displays carefully.

2. Small gaps between bed frame and mattress are designed to prevent the mattress (expanding by the sides when weight is applied on) from pushing against the bed frame and cause the frame to loosen over time.

3. Oslo ModBed is painted in off-white, white-washed paint. Please examine our showroom's display for more accurate colour visual. 

4. The weight limit for Oslo ModBed is capped at 150kg per bed. The weight limit for its ladder (if applicable) is capped at 70kg.  

5. Oslo ModBed comes with 3 years limited structural warranty from date of delivery.

6. Purchase of Modbed parts only does not constitute installation works. Installation charges apply separately.

7. Please be aware that for any future reassembly or addition of parts to existing ModBeds, there may be slight color differences between the new and old beds/parts due to the natural characteristics of wood, variations in production batches, as well as oxidation and aging processes, all of which are beyond human control. 

Oslo Basics Series 

Oslo Basics comes with 1 year limited structural warranty from date of delivery.

Maxtrix Beds 

1. Please note that the trundle of the Maxtrix collection cannot fit standard single size mattresses bought from elsewhere. We carry a range of standard size mattresses that can fit this collection.

2. Maxtrix Beds come with 5 years limited structural warranty from date of delivery.

3. Purchase of Maxtrix parts only does not constitute installation works. Installation charges applies separately.

4. Maxtrix Beds can only accommodate 190x90cm mattress (for single size bed). Foam and latex mattresses are preferred.  

Cilek Beds 

1. Please note that the beds (selected models) and trundles of the Cilek collection cannot fit standard single size mattresses bought from elsewhere. We carry a range of standard size mattresses that can fit this collection.

2. Cilek Beds come with 5 years limited structural warranty from date of delivery.

3. Cilek products are made of MDF board (compressed wood). The suggested weight limit for such material is capped at 75kg.

4. Cilek products are currently on pre-order basis and require a waiting time of around 3 months due to long shipping time from Europe.

Nukhome

1.Cancellation of orders placed over 7 days ago will not be accommodated, as each Nukhome is a unique customized order tailored to individual specifications.

2. Nukhome comes with 3 years limited structural warranty from date of delivery.

3. Nukhome beds are crafted using two distinct materials.

• For beds constructed with MDF board (compressed wood), the weight limit is 90kg per bed.
• In contrast, beds made from solid wood can support a weight limit of up to 250kg per bed.
• Note: Do not jump on the same spot multiple times.

4. Lead time:

• Ready designs and sizes (120/135/150cm mattress sizes) around 1.5 month to 2 months. 
• Customized designs or sizes (90/107 mattress sizes) between 2 to 3 months (from the time the artwork is finalized and confirmed).
