Sporty Brothers

It showcases kids taking charge of their own stories and their own rooms, within a budget and a timeline, with the help of a lively host, professionals, and their own family and friends. Have you ever dreamt of winning a national title? Well, our lead today, Javier, a highly motivated boy who wants to be a water polo champion, together with his athletic brother, Janson.
By revamping the room, Javier hopes to surprise Janson who stays in a hostel, and that Janson would come home more often to this new cozy sporty room where they can chill together.
First step to the room grooming, Javier has a meet up session with the interior designer, Edwin. Javier shared that he is looking to have a room that is sporty, less cluttered and with red and blue. After settling the room design, the 48 hours clock for the room grooming challenge starts ticking!
With the budget credited, Javier went for a shopping trip. He seems to be having fun at the furniture store, he even had a race competition with the host, Charmian. Javier purchased 2 study desks, a rug, and a table lamp, which are all sports themed. He also went to get wooden planks needed to build his DIY shelves.
Javier, alongside his room groomer team cleared the room and painted the walls. Javier also got help from a wall muralist to add a sporty touch to the room with sport related wall painting. Javier also uses his first lifeline which is his dad, to do a trophy case out of a cardboard.
The wooden planks for the DIY shelves turned out to be a little too wide. But fear not, as the room groomers managed to find a saw, cut the planks to the correct size and save the day! After fixing up the DIY shelves, they proceed to moving in the furniture to the room.
Javier, then uses his second lifeline, Janson to work on DIY storage boxes. Labelling the storage box with their own name to prevent their things getting mixed up, is a pretty good move!
When almost all is done, Edwin surprised Javier with a mini golf area in the room! Together, they did the last bit of touching up with Javier’s golf clubs and they are ready for the reveal!
From dull and boring to fun and sporty!
Janson was impressed and feel that Javier knows him well, because he really like the room design. Javier’s dad is very proud of Javier being able to complete this challenge within 2 days and proved that he is no longer a kid anymore.
