It showcases kids taking charge of their own stories and their own rooms, within a budget and a timeline, with the help of a lively host, professionals, and their own family and friends. Have you ever dream of being a superstar, smashing world records and becoming a household name? Meet Mikail, an athlete with big ambition and big dreams, on the field and off, starting from his very own room!
Mikail find his own room very messy and is actually used by his parents as storage area to keep their stuffs. The wardrobe in his room isn’t even his. He shared that he hopes to revamp his room to be football related.
Charmian, the host then introduced Gordon, the Interior Designer to Mikail to help him score this goal! After all the discussion, Gordon came up with a new layout and design for Mikail’s bedroom.
Following the confirmation of the plan, Mikail cannot wait to start his game! With the captain’s t-shirt, fun phone and budget credited, off they run, kickstarting the challenge!
First stop will be Kids Haven, the furniture store, to get his bed and study desk. With the help from the Sales Consultant, they managed to get a storage bed, matching study desk and chair. Next up was to get the DIY materials.
Back to the room, with the room groomers’ help, they cleared the room, removed part of the wardrobe and painted the room. Mikail got help from his CCA junior to assist with the room painting.
After painting was done, Mikail met up with the Wall Muralist and discussed the mural design. When the Muralist was working on the mural, Mikail then realised it is quite a lot of work to be done, hence he offered to help with the mural together with his classmate.
Next up, Mikail proceeded to work on his DIY football crest with his CCA junior. Furniture arrived while they were working on it, therefore, Mikail had to leave the remaining job to his junior and Charmian while he advanced to help out with the furniture.
Mikail also managed to work on his second DIY. And before the final reveal, Charmian actually had a surprise for Mikail. It was a football field mat, which really helped to add the soccer feel to the room!
At least, it is time for the reveal!
