It showcases kids taking charge of their own stories and their own rooms, within a budget and a timeline, with the help of a lively host, professionals, and their own family and friends. Have you ever dreamt of living in a candy-colour castle? Meet our lead, Tufahlay, a caring girl who desire to rule her very own kingdom one day and do good.
If you dare to dream big, Groom My Room is here to help you! So this time round, we are helping Tufaylah, who hopes to revamp her room, base on the theme Candyland! She also hopes to make her mum proud with this room makeover project.
Her room is in a mess with no proper furnitures, which she hopes to changed it. With Charmain’s introduction, Tufaylah meets Edwin, the Interior Designer, who also has a sweet tooth! After a round of sugary ideas sharing session, the candylicious design is out!
With the 1500 ‘chocolate coins' credited, Tufaylah is ready to shop for her Candyland Castle! Her loots from the trip include a customised bunk bed, wall paper and some DIY materials.
After the shopping trip, Tufaylah gets help from the room groomers to clear out the room, painting the walls and the experts to put up the wall paper.
At the same time, Tufaylah utilise her first lifeline to make origami lollipops. In the midst of the DIY project, the furnitures arrived! Being the queen of the castle, Tufaylah not only knows where the pieces go, she even helped to assemble the bed!
With the bed done and up, Edwin came with a surprise drop-lift table for Tufaylah! But there was a little problem, the table didn’t fit. Luckily, Edwin managed to get an electric saw, and with the help of the room groomers, the problem was solved!
While the table was being installed, Tufaylah moves to work on her second DIY project. As the second DIY requires more work, she decided to use the last lifeline she had, which is her sister. When most of the work is done, Tufaylah entrusted the finishing work to Charmain and her sister, while she proceeds to work with the wall muralist.
20 minutes before the 48 hours time limit is up! Tufaylah did the final bit of work and gets ready for the final reveal!
From dreary drabness to maximum sweetness!
