It showcases kids taking charge of their own stories and their own rooms, within a budget and a timeline, with the help of a lively host, professionals, and their own family and friends. Have you ever wanted to somersault into stardom? Meet Aiyana, the strong athletic girl who always strive for excellence. Aiyana wishes to revamp her room she can have more space in her room to do her gymnastics practise. She is looking at gymnastic theme, using blue and purple in her room design.
Without further ado, Charmian introduced Wyman, the Interior Designer to Aiyana, to help out with the room grooming project. After the sharing session, Wyman came up with 2 layout plans for Ayiana to pick from. With the plan selected, Charmian officially handed Aiyana her Groom My Room (GMR) Captain T-shirt, GMR fun phone and got the budget credited in for the shopping trip. Now, it’s time to swing into action!
At Kids Haven, with the assistance from Vanessa, the Sales Consultant, Aiyana managed to pick a bed with pull out trundle and a study desk that fits her theme well. Next trip was to go get some DIY materials before heading back to start working on the revamping.
First thing when they got back was to get the room groomers to help moved out all the furniture and stuffs out of the room, so they can start the painting. Aiyana got her friend as her helpline to assist with the painting. Thereafter, they went to work on the first DIY project.
Midway working on her DIY, the furniture came, hence Aiyana asked her friend and Charmian to help in finishing up the project, while she proceeded to help out with the furniture. Subsequently, the furniture was fixed up and in place, Aiyana moved on to work with the Muralist with the wall mural.
The last thing was to tidy up the room and tying the loose ends. While doing so, Charmian then remembered that the second DIY project was not done yet. Hence, Aiyana got her sister to work together to get it done.
Just as Aiyana was checking on the room before the reveal, Wyman and Charmian came in and surprised Aiyana with a balancing beam! To better fit the room, Aiyana requested to re-paint part of the beam.
Finally, it is time for the room reveal!!
